Netflix – Down To Earth with Zac Efron
I was brought on to concept and direct a series of animated segments for Season 2 of Netflix’s Down to Earth with Zac Efron, alongside my wonderfully talented co-director and dear friend Magui.
The sequences helped explain key themes and ideas throughout the show – from environmental science to regenerative agriculture – in a way that felt playful, smart, and visually rich.
I had great fun not only directing the project, but also getting my hands dirty on some of the storyboards, character rigs, and character animation.
These animated segments took home the 2023 Daytime Emmy for best “Main Title and Graphic Design" 🏆.
